It was a cold Monday morning, but for Maya and the other seventy-four students, it was a good day to go on a trip to the Lower Wapato Creek (小溪). It is home to many kinds of trees and salmon (鲑鱼).

My School Trip
Last Saturday, our class took a school trip to the farm. After getting off the bus, we walked along the mountain road for half an hour before we reached the farm. The scenery along the way was very beautiful.
When we arrived at the farm, the farmer was collecting potatoes in the field. He took us to the Fruit Farm and taught us how to pick strawberries. We picked many strawberries and ate some. I’ve never had such delicious strawberries. Then, we went fishing by the river. We caught some fish and gave them to the farmer. The farmer showed us how to feed the chickens after that. It was so much fun to feed the chickens.
After having a big dinner on the farm, we went back to school. Although I felt a little tired after the trip, I learned a lot and enjoyed myself on the farm. I look forward to visiting the farm again.
