(本题6分)I used to tell my friends that museums were a silly idea for a weekend getaway—until I visited one of them with my family last week.
We started by looking at some old paintings in a big room. My mom explained that they were created by famous artists a long time ago. And that’s when the trip started to get interesting for me.
Next, we went to a room with real dinosaur bones (恐龙骨). They were huge, and I couldn’t believe that animals that big ever existed (存在). We learnt how they lived and looked for food. It was cool!
Then, we went to a room with old handcrafts (手工艺品). There were bowls, musical instruments, and even a pyramid (金字塔)! I couldn’t believe they were made so long ago—without modern machines. It was amazing to see how people used to live back then.
Lastly, we visited a room with real live insects and animals. There were butterflies flying all around and even a big spider! I got a little scared, but my mom told me they were behind glass and couldn’t hurt me.
After we saw everything, we went to the gift shop. I got a cool ruler with dinosaur facts on it and a little toy dinosaur. My sister got a book about space, and my dad got a cool T-shirt.
Going to the museum was fun! I learnt so much about history, science, and art. Guess what I’m taking back everything I said about museums—and I can’t wait to go back and see what else is there!

In recent years, electric vehicles (EVs,电动汽车) have become very popular around the world. This trend is mainly due to growing concerns about the environment, rising fuel (燃料) prices, and improvements in technology. Many countries are encouraging people to use EVs to help fight climate change and reduce air pollution.
Electric vehicles run on electricity instead of gasoline (汽油) or diesel (柴油). This means they do not produce harmful gases, which is a big reason why governments want people to switch (转变) from traditional cars to electric ones.
Several well-known car companies, like Tesla, Nissan, and BMW, have created different electric models to meet the increasing demand. These cars have many great features, such as longer battery (电池) life, faster charging times, and advanced technologies like self-driving abilities.
However, some people are still unsure about buying electric vehicles. They often worry about the availability of charging stations, the higher initial (最初的) cost compared to gasoline cars, and concerns about how long the batteries will last. To help with these issues, many governments offer incentives, such as tax credits and rebates, to make EVs more affordable for everyone.
As technology keeps improving, the future of electric vehicles looks bright. Many experts believe that by 2030, a large number of cars on the road will be electric, leading to a cleaner and healthier environment for everyone. Accepting electric vehicles is an important step towards a sustainable future, and it reflects our commitment to protecting the planet for future generations.

I’m a boy who likes traveling very much. Before I go on vacation, I always plan my trip very carefully. I usually look up all the necessary information on my own and collected ahead of time.
To begin with, I look up possible places of interest and compared them carefully to see which one satisfies my needs best. Second, I check the cost of traveling to that place. If I want to go by plane, I will compare the prices of the different airlines in order to get the cheapest tickets. If I plan to travel by train, I will look into the special train ticket office. I travel by bus least because of the high risk of travel accidents on the highway. Third, as for hotels, I used to choose to stay in cheap hotels. But now I think sleeping comfortably is the most important. At last, it’s better to spend less on meals and sightseeing. If I plan carefully, I can usually have a good time at a proper price.

Dear Clark,
I have known your problems from your letter.
Many teenagers have hobbies. Sometimes these hobbies get in the way of school work and their parents may worry about their studies. Arguing is not useful. Try to talk with your parents in a friendly way. In my opinion, you can tell them it is good for your health to do sports. You should practice your hobbies after school or on weekends. But you can’t do it as much as you want. As a student, the most important thing is to study. We should have enough time to have fun but not too much.
I’m sure you can do it well.
Yours,
Mr. Wang
