I have been learning English since I was 10 years old. Everything I was taught at school was about grammar. Every day, my teacher required us to copy new words 10 times. Gradually, learning English became something boring.
When I was in 9th grade, I happened to see a movie called The Sound of Music. It was so funny that Ieven imitated the pronunciation of the actors. I learned quite a lot of vocabulary from it, which was an unforgettable learning experience. It was also why I fell in love with the language.
I remember back then, I also downloaded a lot of English songs of Taylor Swift and listened to them every day. It has really improved my listening. Before listening, I always read first and found out what the song was about. While listening, I practised the words again and again. I felt happier when I studied this way.
I can see a huge improvement in my English skills. Thanks to English, I have learned much more about the world around me. The journey towards English language is not always easy, and I still have a long way to go. I won't, however, give up on it.
