British people are big tea drinkers. It is a tradition in Britain to drink tea for many reasons. People enjoy it at breakfast, during visits with friends, and on tea breaks at work. People even “have a cuppa” when they talk about their personal problems. But the biggest reason for drinking tea is to relax.
Recently, a research from the Tea Group shows that more people would like to choose fruit and other teas over traditional English breakfast tea. Researchers did a survey of more than 2, 000 tea lovers. Over 50% of people said their favorite tea was not the traditional one. Over 20% of people chose green tea as their favorite tea. Just over 20% said English breakfast tea was their first choice.
Sales of traditional tea in the UK are declining (下降) during these years. Three years ago, a survey found that English breakfast tea was the preferred (更喜欢的) choice for 54% of British people. But the new research shows a declining interest in this traditional tea.
The researchers also found other interesting facts about tea-drinking habits (习惯) in the UK.
The British seem to love milky and sugary tea. Around 85% of people who drink English breakfast tea would like to put milk in it. About 45% of people sweeten their tea with sugar, and interestingly, those with a sweet tooth put as much as three teaspoons of sugar in their cup.

September 20 is National Teeth-loving Day in China. Among all the teeth problems, crooked teeth(不整齐的牙齿) is a common one.
When your new teeth begin to grow and the old teeth haven’t fallen out, there isn’t enough space for the new ones. This causes crooked teeth.
Some people have teeth that are out of place. They are hard to clean and more likely to get cavities(虫牙) . Sometimes they cause(引发) pain. They also make trouble for you when you chew, talk or smile.
Don’t worry. Wearing braces might solve your problem. Braces work little by little on these teeth. After sometime, the teeth will go back to the right place. Traditional braces are small metal(金属) pieces on teeth. They help people get straight teeth.
You may feel strange(奇怪的) and uncomfortable when you wear braces. Brushing teeth becomes difficult. You have to brush them more often. If you don’t, food leaves on your braces and people will see what you have eaten. You have to visit the dentist every few weeks and wear the braces for one to three years.

Have you ever thought about how astronauts wash their clothes without gravity(重力) It's not easy. Here, I'd like to tell you the reasons why it is hard to wash clothes in space.
We know normal washing machines need gravity to work, but there is no gravity in space. Besides, washing machines usually need a lot of water. 61 So astronauts living aboard the International Space Station(ISS) need to take many clothes.
According to Newsweek , three astronauts living on the ISS for a year need 657.7 kg of clothing. 62 That's as heavy as two cars! So, washing these heavy clothes in space is too hard and there's no washing machine on the ISS now. 63 Russian scientists are making a special washing machine for astronauts to use in space, If scientists make this washing machine, it will make astronauts' lives much easier. 64 ____ It doesn't need water. Instead(相反),it collects carbon dioxide(二氧化碳) from the air that the astronauts breathe out. 65 At last, the liquid can help clean clothes.
In the future, there's no need for astronauts to take so many clothes with them to the space station.
A. However, this may not be a problem in the future. B. Because this washing machine is different from the one we use. C. This amount of water is so heavy that the spaceship can't carry. D. Then, it uses high pressure(压) to turn carbon dioxide into a liquid(液体). E. Six people taking a two-year trip to Mars would need 2, 722 kg of clothes.

Thanks to the double reduction policy,I have more free time to do something I like on weekends.
First of all, doing exercise is my favorite because as it is not only healthy for the body but also for the mind. Both my friend Bob Anna and I love running. Therefore we get together at the park three times a week to run along the river.Besides watching films is a great way to relax and learn something new.My family and I go to the cinema about twice or three a month.Usually our first choice is Wanda Cinema because it has the biggest screen. We watch documentaries most of the time because I think they are more educational than other kinds.
In my opinion,it's important and necessary for us students to take part in more after-class activities which can enrich our life and bring the family closer.
