Some people have a very poor sense of direction. Unluckily, I am one of them. I have visited a place many times but I may still get lost there the next time.
When I was a little girl, I never dared ask strangers the way. And so I used to walk round in circles and hope that by chance I would get to the place I was going to.

At table, the British people pay special attention to table manners. For example, they shouldn’t talk at table or beat tableware (餐具). They have a strict requirement on how to use knives and forks, while Americans seldom do so. They like fast and convenient food. American’s favorite food are hamburgers, fried chicken and pizza. These diets keep the American obesity rate high. But from the diet habits, it is not difficult for us to find that the American do everything vigorously (活泼地) and resolutely and do not spend too much on the trifles (琐事).
There are also lots of different manners between Americans and Chinese, and some are totally even opposite. For Americans, when friends gather together, they do not like to talk about their salary (工资), age and marriage. They think they are their privacy (隐私) and they are more likely to keep their privacy. But in China, people like talking about them. In America, when people meet strangers, they prefer people to call their shortnames, because it would show how close they are. But in China, it is impolite to do that. In America, you will be hated if you say someone is old and do something special for them, because they think old people are useless in the world. For Chinese, old people are glad to hear that and you will be praised for doing things freely for old people. They like the sense of being respected.
There are different manners in different countries. And we should follow them when we travel to other countries.

Obey the rules of British roads
British roads, some of the safest in the world. A study in 2018 compared more than 30 countries and found that 3.8 people per 100,000 died in traffic accidents in the UK. This number was lower than any other country. So, what did British drivers do to achieve this What are they doing differently Here are five top tips for drivers who are planning a trip to the UK.
People in Britain drive on the left side of the road. In fact, a long time ago people drove on the left in most countries, but now only a few countries have this. Don't forget that this also means you must drive the other way around roundabouts ( 环岛) .
British people feel that waiting should be fair for everybody. If you are in a queue of traffic, then don't try to push past the cars in front of yours. This is called "jumping the queue". You must wait for your turn; otherwise people may get angry with you.
You must stop at the traffic lights when they are red. In many countries. it is OK to go past the red lights if you are turning a corner or if there isn't any other traffic around. In the UK you could have a lot of trouble if you do this.
If another driver flashes (闪烁) his cars lights at you, he is probably trying to tell you that he will wait for you to go first. British people don't like to use their car horn ( 喇叭) much and they think people who do so are rude.
If you get in an accident, don't try to pay the police. The police in the UK never take money, and if you try to offer them some, you could end your holiday visiting British prison.
回答下面5个问题,每题答案不超过六个词。
56.How many tips are mentioned in the passage
57.Which side do British people drive on
58.If you jump the queue, how will other drivers feel
59.What does the driver probably mean if he flashes his car's lights at you
