You may ask：does light have colors Do you remember Newton's Prism Experiment He successfully decomposed(分解) sunlight into seven colors：red, orange, yellow, green, indigo, blue, and purple. So how do our eyes catch these colorful colors in nature
When light hits an object(物体), with the help of cells on the retina(视网膜) and the visual nerve (视觉神经), the light reflected by the object will be caught by our eyes.
Different colors of light have different wavelengths and produce different nerve impulses(神经脉冲). When the nerve impulse is transmitted to the brain, it will be recorded. After analyzing and memorizing these various nerve impulses, the colorful world will appear in the mind.
Scientists found that color does have a strong influence on people's body and mind. Take red as an example.
Red light can change people's brain waves. Under the red light, people's reaction(反应) speed will increase, but the work efficiency will drop a lot.
