Homei Miyashita, a professor at a Japanese university, has been researching electrical stimulation(电刺激) as a way to change the way people enjoy taste for years. In 2016, he developed a special fork that could make any food taste saltier. And last year, he became more famous for his lickable(可以舔的) TV screen. Now, his new invention—a pair of smart chopsticks that can make food taste better—has been shown to the world.
The smart chopsticks will be very popular in Japan, where the traditional food tastes salty. The average Japanese person eats about 10 g of salt a day. This could cause people to get sick. But Miyashita says that electrical stimulation could solve this problem. He recently has created the world's first smart chopsticks, which can improve the salty taste of food.
The chopsticks use electrical stimulation and a mini-computer. The device(装置) sends sodium ions(钠离子) from the food, through the chopsticks, to the mouth of the user. Then they create a stronger feeling of saltiness.
Ai Sato, who developed the chopsticks with Miyashita, explains, “If we try not to take more salt in a traditional way, we may have to give up some of our favorite food. Or we have to choose to eat tasteless food.”
Now, Miyashita and his partner are improving their chopsticks. They hope to put the chopsticks on the market as early as next year.

Work together
I'll never forget the thing that I did when I was in Grade Eight.
I remember it clearly. It was an important day and our school soccer team would play against No.8 Middle School team.I was good at soccer and I was a member of our team.If we won that match we would have a chance to play with teams from other cities.I expected to score so I always took the ball myself.I didn't pass the ball to my teammates on the playground. In the end we lost the match although I scored two goals! After that I said sorry to my teammates with tears in eyes.To my surprise, they didn't blame me.They said they still trusted me.
The experience made me understand working together is important in our life.
