Dear teachers and schoolmates,
I'm Li Hua. It's my honor to stand here and make a speech. Today, I'd like to introduce china to all of you. As we all know, china has a long history of over 3,000 years and it really plays an important role in China.
Many people, young or old, are fond of china. It is made from clay. It is not only made to be enjoyed by people but also used for containing things. Many things are made of china in our daily life, such as cups, bowls and plates. Blue and white porcelain is one of the most famous china. It is known to people all over the world. In China, china means good luck and happiness.
As far as I'm concerned, china is Chinese treasure. We should try our best to protect this traditional art. And I hope more and more young people like china and develop it.
That's all. Thank you for your listening
Yours,

"Ring-ring! Ring-ring!" That once familiar sound in your home can only mean one thing: your grandparents are calling. Although they have a mobile phone, it is all too often turned off or it can't be found because it hasn't been used in weeks. And you know what they are always saying about these machines: What do I want one of those for What's wrong with sending a normal letter by post
While there may be a little truth in such ideas, the fact is that now even your grandmother is not likely to call you on your landline (座机). And the elderly are trying to accept new technology quite easily, especially as digital technology becomes more user-friendly. In many countries, the elderly can receive free training in the use of computers, and learn how to send photos and how to use the Internet for shopping and other services. It is clear that the elderly have already come to depend on digital technology to help them and keep in touch with friends and relatives.
Elderly people also like to use technology for pleasure in their free time. Being able to use a computer or smartphone makes this easier to do, and can open the door to interesting hobbies. Many social media apps developed for the young people are now being enjoyed by the elderly, too. "I soon found lots of people to chat with and some invited me to join their activities. I love to go outside. It keeps me alive." And for elderly people who cannot leave their homes without help, communication with the outside world is necessary, to prevent loneliness and to allow them to call for help in emergencies.
So it would seem that rather than being afraid of new technology, the elderly have much to get from it, and are accepting it fully. As digital technology comes down in price, and becomes easier to use, it could help to change old age for millions of people.

Do you have a good memory Can you remember English words you learnt last week Or have you forgotten the deadline of your project Many of us often say "My brain doesn't work well". Maybe you can try a new way of training your brain—Learn with your team members.
"Teamwork makes our brains work better. The memory expert, Jonathan Hancock said, "Being part of a team has many advantages for remembering things."In his memory research, he finds that the participants(参与者) in a team always behave better than people who work independently. That's because they have less personal pressure, more time to think over each question.
But there's even more going on according to Canadian researchers, who've shown that our brains get a natural improvement when they've got company(陪伴). Their study suggests two reasons. First, when we're with people who are trying to remember something, we can easily feel that tip-of-the-tongue feeling, so we also want to join in to challenge ourselves. Second, after knowing others can remember things well, we can be encouraged to make it too.
To make better use of the power of team learning, you can use the contagion(传染效应) to awaken and improve memories. For example, go over new words together with your partners. Believe it or not, you'll be amazed at your magic memory. Also, you can share the duty together. If you have many tasks to remember, ask your partner to remember the date of school play while you're in charge of remembering project deadline. In this way, both of you will remember things more easily and deeply.
28.How does Jonathan Hancock support his opinion in Paragraph2
A.By doing a research. B.By giving an example. C.By providing a form.
29.The underlined word " tip-of-the-tongue feeling " in paragraph 3 means
30.What is Paragraph4 mainly about
A.Ideas of learning English new words.
B.Ways of sharing memory duty with partners.
C.Advice on improving memories by teamwork.
31.What is the writer's purpose in writing the passage
A.To ask readers to make use of team work to improve memories.
B.To encourage people to use their brains more often.
C.To invite readers to take part in their research to train brains.
