Beethoven is my favorite musician. He is one of the world’s greatest composers (作曲家) and pianists. He wrote a lot of beautiful pieces of music. At the age of four, he could already play the piano. I only started playing when I was eight!
Beethoven’s first music teacher was his father and he saw that the boy had a lot of talent. He wanted his son to be the next Mozart. Beethoven practiced very hard for very long hours. Because of this, he quickly became very popular. Many people enjoyed his music and liked to hear him play the piano.
However, at the age of 26, Beethoven suddenly started to lose his hearing. He had to stop his successful career as a pianist but he continued working hard and did not let this stop him. He wrote more music, and some of his later pieces became very famous. They are still widely played today. I have listened to all of his music pieces already and the one I like best is Symphony No. 9. But Beethoven’s life was still not easy. There is a well-known story about that. Once someone had to turn Beethoven around so that he could see people standing and cheering for him. When Beethoven realized that he could not hear anything, he cried. He wrote some letters to his closest friends, telling them how he felt. Some of these letters have been carefully kept in museums. I have not visited those museums yet but I really want to!

I turned to my husband, Adam, and asked, “How are we going to deal with all the problems in front of us Who would pick up our kids each school day Who would feed and walk the dogs Who would prepare dinner ”
“We’ll work it out.” Adam said. I just nodded (点头) my head, saying nothing. But nowhere in my heart did I believe him. Not even a little bit.
I shared my accident on the Internet. And something I never expected happened: friends both near and far asked me how they could help. I wrote back, thanking them all but not accepting their kind offers. But when we got back home, a friend helped to take care of our meals for the first month of my recovery (恢复). Parents in our school picked my kids up from school each afternoon. Friends sent books and food.
My children also changed a lot. They no more asked me to send them to school, to prepare their lunch boxes or to make sure their homework was in their bags. They learned to do it by themselves. Each day after school, they ran back home quickly to see if I was fine. My daughter tried many ways like playing light music or funny movies to help me go through the hard time. When I was taking my slow, painful PT exercises (术后康复训练), my son got a for k or a bottle of water for me whenever he was asked, never complaining. They all seemed to be better for my accident.

要求:
1、条理清楚,语句通顺,行文连贯;
2、100词左右(短文的开头已给出,不计入总词数)。
Dave is my best friend. He has many problems.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
【答案】例文:
Dave is my best friend. He has many problems recently.
Firstly, when he arrived home yesterday, he found his parents fighting with each other terribly. He didn’t know what to do then. I think he should offer to help around the house, such as cleaning the room. That can surely make his parents get happier and then it is good for them to improve their relations. Secondly, Dave has no friends around. In my opinion, he could choose to be a volunteer. Then he can make friends with other volunteers when doing volunteer work together. Thirdly, Dave often catches a cold. For this point, I think it’s best for him to go to the doctor. Only in this way can he find out the real reason why he often catches colds. Lastly, Dave’s grades drop quickly these days. From my point of view, he’d better ask his teacher for help. As we all know, teachers always know their students best. So I believe his teachers can give him some proper advice, which can help him do better in his following study.
It’s really not easy being our age, but it’s normal to meet some problems in our life. So as long as Dave keeps trying, I believe my advice will help him get better soon.
