Sam has to do some housework every day. For example, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, he has to sort(分类) all the rubbish into different kinds and take it out. That's because his parents think it's good for the environment. On weekends he always washes his father's car. He also cleans his own room once a week. Sometimes he even has to look after his little sister.
Sam has a foreign friend at school. His name is Kumar. Doing chores in Kumar's family is diverse . In the house, only the girls do housework. His sisters make all the beds and clean all the rooms, too. His mother always cooks the meals, and his sisters help her go shopping and cook the food. His sisters work hard at home and do all the chores with their mother. So when Kumar talks to his friend Sam about chores, he feels lucky.
