We are humans, and it’s not always easy to get along with everyone all the time. Sometimes we hurt people’s feelings and make them angry or upset. We need to do something for them so we should apologize (道歉) to make them forgive (原谅) us. Apologies are one of the daily tools we use to build good friendships and relationships. When you say “I’m sorry”, it’s because you probably think you are wrong. or you think something you did or said hurt another person. Saying “I’m sorry” is more than just words. You also mean that you respect the other person and you care about his or her feelings. After apologizing, you might feel a little better. The other person probably will, too.
When you apologize in a proper way, you can feel good because you are trying to make things right again. If someone is upset or angry because of something you did, you’ll want to set things right. Here are some times when an apology can make a difference:
● If you hurt or teased someone, even if you didn’t mean to make fin of him or her.
● If you lost or broke things that belonged to someone else.
● If you did something that you knew was wrong—like telling a lie or breaking a rule on purpose.
● If you didn’t do something you were supposed to do—like keeping a promise.
When someone apologizes to you, you should get ready to forgive him or her. No matter what happened, just move on. Or you might not feel like being friendly again right away.
It doesn’t mean you have to be friends just because someone apologizes. It’s polite to accept and acknowledge (承认) an apology, but anything more is up to you!
61. The reason why you sometimes say “I’m sorry” is because ________.
A. you think you are totally right B. you are making a promise to someone
C. you mean to hurt someone D. you care about and respect someone you hurt
62. When you make someone angry, you apologize to ________.
A. build fast relationships B. hurt his feelings
C. make him forgive you D. learn from him
63. What does the underlined word “teased” mean in the passage
A. refused B. treated C. joked D. missed
64. What should you do when someone apologizes to you
A. Say sorry. B. Move away. C. Accept it. D. Feel bad.
65. What is the best title for this passage
A. The Best Place of Apologies. B. The Useful Time of Apologies.
C. The Reasons of Apologies. D. The Art of Apologies.
Ⅸ. 任务型阅读。(共5小题,每小题2分,计10分)

Note-taking is a skill that can help you do well in all your schoolwork. It can make you confident when you are studying. But unluckily, most students don’t know how to take notes.
If your teacher writes notes on the blackboard, that’s great. You can copy them or write down the most important facts of all in class. Different teachers do things differently. For example, some teachers may focus on (关注) lots of dates and facts in class, but they only write the important ones on the blackboard. Other teachers may not write anything down, but they may repeat them.
Don’t try to write down every word in class, or you might miss some important points. Some students really lear better with the help of these notes.
Don’t be afraid to ask your teacher to repeat what you’re missed. If your teacher speaks too fast and you can’t follow what he is saying, you can ask him after class.
Comparing your notes with your classmates’ can be good for your learning. It can also help you and your classmates correct some mistakes.
Note-taking also needs organization. Keep notes for each subject in one place, so that you can find everything easily when a test comes.
Good note-taking takes time. If you decide to recopy your notes every evening, you’ll surely have less time to watch TV. But you’ll save time in the coming test.

One possible version:
Every coin has two sides. Taking online courses has advantages and disadvantages. Some students think taking online courses is no exception. Some students think that taking online courses has many advantages. One reason is that it is convenient for students to study at home as long as their phones or TV can use the Internet. Another reason is that everyone can watch a playback by apps without paying. At the same time, being late for school hardly happens. And the most important point is that there is no problem of being unable to see the blackboard clearly in online classes.
However, some other students disagree with them. They think that taking online courses has little efficiency and can distract students. What is worse, it is bad for students’ eyes. What’s more, some students may play computer games while taking online courses.
In my opinion, taking online courses is a good way to learn knowledge when we can’t go to school as usual. We can make a learning plan every day so as to follow our teachers and take advantage of the Internet.
