As a branch of computer science, artificial intelligence (AI) (人工智能) has gradually come into our life. From controlling the lights in our homes to helping us order pizza, it has become an important part of our everyday life. But what about the more creative works Art, music, poetry(诗歌)一these are made mainly by people's thoughts and feelings. And yet, we have already created AI that can make creative works.
In 2017, researchers in Switzerland have created a computer program, the "deep artificial composer (DAC)", which can create music all by itself. To "teach" the DAC, the scientists trained it to "listen" to over 2,000 different songs. Through this training, the AI taught itself how to make music. Colombo, a scientist who helped create the DAC, said that his goal in creating the DAC was to help people create their own music, not to make- music for them. "A program will never take the place of a creative musician." Colombo said.
Besides music, Al has gone into the world of poetry as well. In April 2018, Chinese and Japanese researchers wrote an AI program that uses pictures to write poems. The AI looks at shapes and colors in a given picture and changes them into words. Then poems were then shown to 500 people. Researchers asked these people whether they could tell if the poems were written by a human or a computer. As many as 40 percent of the people thought the poems were written by a human by mistake.
With its ability to create music and poetry, one has to wonder how different Al is from the creative minds of humans.

A. To make music for people

C. To teach people how to write music.
D. To provide creative ideas for musicians.

It is common to see many different kinds of insects while spending time outside in summer. Some of them do not trouble people and can add beauty to the national environment. Other insects can be bad for the environment or humans. The population of these insects seems to stay large.
But scientists say this may not be true for some flying insects. There is growing evidence(证据) that the number of these insects is getting smaller and smaller.
One researcher Doug Tallamy, a professor at the University of Delaware, looks into the present insect population. He remembers walking through Washington, D.C. in the past when it was "alive with insects, especially butterflies". Now, he said, "The flying insects are actually gone." E.O. Wilson, another researcher of Harvard University, said this seemed to be true when he made a drive last year from Boston to Vermont. He was surprised that, during his trip, he counted only one insect that had hit the car's front window. Several other scientists have carried out similar tests by checking how many insects hit their cars while traveling.
While researchers say this way is not scientific, it can still help them understand the changing of flying insect population.
In 2006, a group of studies showed there had been a 14 percent drop in ladybugs(瓢虫) in the United State and Canada from 1987 to 2006.
In Germany, a 2017-study found an 82 percent drop in the number of flying insects compared to levels recorded in 1990.
After the German study, other countries also started looking into the problem. David Wagner from the University of Connecticut says other evidences lead him to believe the findings of the 2017 study are "clearly not just a German thing".
42. What does the underlined word "this'" in Paragraph 2 refer to
A. The insects love staying outdoors.
B. The population of the insects stays large.
C. The insects cause trouble to people.
D. Many kinds of insects are really nice.
43. How did Wilson try to explain his findings
A. By using his own experience.
B. By asking several questions.
C. By listing famous sayings.
D. By studying the reasons.
44. What does David Wagner think of the 2017 German study
A. He doesn't think the study was scientific.
B. He doesn't think the study was necessary.
C. He thinks other places also have the problem.
D. He thinks Germany has the most serious problem
45. What can be the best title for the passage
