Dear Li Hua,
I'm glad to receive your e-mail. I'd like to give you some advice on how to learn English well.
First of all, it's necessary to develop an interest in English study, because interest is the best teacher to learn a foreign language. What's more, having a good habit of learning English helps things easier to make a success, such as reading English more often, taking down notes in detail, and listening to your teachers carefully. Besides, listening to English songs which can make yourself relaxed is helpful to fall asleep. As we know, a good sleep quality is essential to your study. At the same time, don't forget to ask your teachers for help. They are professional and always offer some useful advice. Last but not least, you are supposed to listen and speak English as often as possible. Both watching English movies and communicate with foreigners can improve your oral English.
Practice makes perfect. Only by listening more, speaking more, and reading more can you make good progress in English study.
Yours,

I found it hard to communicate with my mother. Relations between us became difficult.
One day, I ran away from home and stayed outside for a few hours. When I returned home at night, I saw all the pain, anger and disappointment on my mother’s face. We knew that we were in great need of talk. We agreed to have breakfast together the next morning. In the end, we decided to go to a restaurant.
On our way to the restaurant, I noticed my mother had two notebooks. I asked her what they were used for. She explained to me that sometimes it was easier to write down our feelings than talking about them. We should write down our feelings.
Our first topic was “Why am I so angry ” I wrote a half page, and my mom filled up nearly three pages. I saw the tears running down her face while she was writing. I never realized anyone could hide so much anger. After we finished writing, we exchanged our notebooks. As soon as I started reading my mother’s words, I began to cry and so did she. When we finished reading, we discussed our feelings. Finally, it felt like all the anger inside went away from my body. Our talk helped me realize so many things I had never thought of before, not only about my mother but also about other people.
My mother and I continue using our notebooks as a way of communicating. We know that no matter how we feel about each other, our notebooks are a safe place to express our feelings. We have come to an agreement that we write I love you at the end of each letter.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grow up If you were like most children, you probably let your imagination run wild. Maybe you dreamed of flying into space or being a famous cook. Then perhaps over the years, your dreams became more realistic. Or you might have given up some.
It’s important to have dreams because dreams can give us energy to succeed in life. Dreams inspire us. They might take a few years or they might take a lifetime to achieve. The important thing is that you’re always working for your dream. And the best way to do that is by setting goals.
What is the difference between a dream and a goal It’s been said that dreams are the final destination(目的地); goals are the stops along the way. Your dreams mean what you want, but goals tell how you will get there. That makes goal setting a necessary step in reaching your dreams.
If you’ve been dreaming about doing something for years, start today. Write down your dream and set your goals. Then you’ll be on your way to make your dreams come true.
( )66.The underlined word “inspire” means “________” in Chinese.

American people like to say "Thank you" when others help them or say something kind to them. People of many countries do so, too. It is a very good habit.
You should say "Thank you" when someone passes you the salt on the table, when someone walking in front of you keeps the door open for you, when someone says you have done your work well, or you have bought a nice thing, or your city is very beautiful. "Thank you" is used not only between friends, but also between parents and children, brothers and sisters.
"Excuse me" is another short sentence they use. When you hear someone say so behind you, you know that somebody wants to walk past you without touching(触摸) you.
